RAK from Virginia

Hello, friends! It feels like it's been ages since I've posted anything. I didn't really carry through in January but I had made a New Year's resolution of sorts to spend a little more me time and that's what I've been doing. I really want to show you the cards I've made but I thought they might be good enough for publication so I'm holding out. That doesn't help you now, does it? ;)

Lucky for me, I received this wonderful card from Virginia today! Isn't this the sweetest card? I love the way the green twine on the button matches the green die cut panel. I haven't known Virginia long but we met on the Hero Arts scene and quickly started emailing back and forth. It turns out she lives about an hour's drive from me and I already know we'll have to get together at some point! In fact, I think I'll go to Virginia's place so I can play with all her crafting supplies. LOL Virginia's such an inspiration and I love her work! She was Hero Arts Hostess at the new release and was recently named to the SRM Stickers Design Team. Virginia included a bunch of SRM stickers with this card and I'm excited to try them out on some cards! (I accidentally dropped a bunch of them when moving the card to be photographed and didn't realize it 'til afterwards so they aren't all shown in the photo.) Thank you so much for brightening my day with this wonderful surprise, Virginia!!
