Thinking of You

I can't help but laugh when I look at this card. If it's at all possible to overdose on twine, I think I may have done it here. LOL I used the Hero Arts set Sending Smiles Message for this card which I'm submitting to the February Contest. I started with a base of kraft cardstock and stamped the sentiment on the card base. Then I stamped a background using the little dandelion (starburst) image in five different colours. I adhered it to a navy mat and measured out where the bows would be positioned. I used my piercing tool to anchor the twine and threaded each piece through. It looks like the twine is simply tied around the cardstock but they won't be moving anywhere! The entire panel is popped on with dimensionals.

No such thing as too much twine! I love the matching ink-and-twine colors, and this design is just so cheery! Looks like a winner to me!

When I first read your post, I thought I saw "wine" not "twine", lol. Love the card.... it reminds me of peppermint candy!

But it's so cheerful, how could you do that w/o all that twine?

Love this cheery card! You are a master at "planned randomness", if you know what I mean... your finished piece looks pleasantly random, but I know it was carefully planned! It certainly works!
