A Speedy Recovery

As mentioned in THIS post, I met Lindsey earlier this month and we collaborated on a get well card for Angela's kitten, Simon, who broke his leg. Pink Cat Studio is on vacation for the entire month of July so this is a little reminder that there are a lot of fun and versatile digi and rubber stamps available for your crafting pleasure! Lindsey was the one who chose this image of Cool Cat which was originally released for Father's Day. Since Simon's right hind leg was broken, the cane was in the perfect position and since Simon had a green gauze, I used Honeydew and Peapod baker's twine to wrap that leg. I did the Copic colouring and fussy cutting while Lindsey did the stamping and adhering. It was a lot of fun to make a card together for our wonderful bloggy friend Angela! We hope Simon likes it, too. Check out all the sweet photos and layouts of Simon on Angela's blog, Paper Cupboard! You're sure to squeal over his cuteness. ;)

Speaking of blogland friends, I'm so excited that I'm going to meet Unity's Angie Blom and Jen Wills from Bermuda next week!

I showed Andrew this card, and he said it was cute...and then did a double-take at the twine cast! It's a perfect match! I'm glad Simon's past the cast phase, and I'm sure this card got him there! Great job, both you and Linds.

Thanks a bunch!
