I Thought of You

Did you get your hands on a copy of Paper Crafts Magazine's Card Ideas for Paper Crafters? This is my card on page 55. When I was sublicating for this issue back in February, I knew it was going to be a long-shot since sketches aren't my strength. Of all the cards I submitted, this was my favourite one and it is, shockingly, covered with designer paper! Well, many of you have already told me and now I can say this myself, I'm no longer allowed to say that I can't use sketches or patterned paper. LOL

My card uses the Basic Grey Wander Collection with the International Skyline from Hero Arts and a sentiment from Unity's June 2010 Kit of the Month - Fly Free (currently on sale).

This really is an amazing issue! When I saw the sketches by themselves, I couldn't wrap my head around most of them but now that I see the great cards to go along with them, I could easily make a few cards based on those sketches. I think you'll love this issue as much as I do!

Beautiful card! And you thought it was a long-shot? I love how you broke the skyline stamp into the three panels.
Good you're moving into a house so you'll have room for an expanding collection of patterned papers! :D
