{Paper Smooches} Hello Honey

Kim is sharing this card on the Paper Smooches Blog today. It features the hexagon stamp from Artisan Blocks. I stamped it on the Tag Scallop die to create a cute little backdrop for the bee from Bee Mine. I formed a custom sentiment by combining words from Bee Mine and Word Salad. The large frame is a negative cut from the Hot Spots Small Base die and all the patterned papers are from Echo Park's Here & Now paper pad.

Speaking of bees, it's ironic that I'm posting a cute bee card because I don't think real bees are cute at all. My son and I were both stung by yellow jackets at the splash pad on Friday and we're still traumatized by it. They chased us at the Centre Island picnic on Saturday and they've continued to harass us to the point where we can no longer enjoy being outdoors! It seems like there is an abundance of bees, wasps and hornets around this summer. Right now, amidst this attack of killer bees and a major heat wave, I'm looking forward to autumn!

As soon as I saw this card, I wondered how you managed to put a bee on it after your traumatic experiences!!! Of course a melon mambo bee is a totally different story. Totally fun card!

You are such a trooper for putting together this really adorable card...I love the sweet bee image but I'm with you, I don't like any of those flying stinging things...

Me too I was wondering about the bee! I so get your discomfort :( Late summer is the worst for bugs. I;m feeling the autumn love myself. At least this non-stabby bee is awfully cute :)
