{Mama Elephant} Stamp Highlight: Remember December

It's Day 3 of the Mama Elephant Stamp Highlights for the October Release and today the design team is featuring Remember December. This stamp set is geared toward Project Life and scrapbooking but it's so versatile that making cards with it is easy, too. On the card base, I used four different ink colours, second generation stamping with the darker colours, to create a cascade of numbers.

To embellish the stamping, I applied glimmer triangle 'lights' die cut from the Embellished Tag accessories. To frame and finish the card, I used the negative frames, leftover from die cutting two scallop rectangles from Femme Frames, and tilted them against the base and each other so that the card stands straight.

Please be sure to visit the rest of the design team to see what they came up with using Remember December.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Love this design! It's kind of matrixy, very cool!

I really like this, Em! When I first saw the stamp set, I was thinking, not really a set for making cards, but you proved otherwise! I like the skewed frames, too.

I am loving the bit of shimmer from the triangles! What a clever idea. And the tilted frames - love how that looks!
