{Paper Smooches} June Die Release + Laura Sterckx Video Blog Hop!

This is my second post of the day.

Paper Smooches released four new dies yesterday and I'm featuring the Band Aids Dies with a sentiment from First Aid Kit as part of Laura Sterckx's 1000 YouTube Subscribers video blog hop! Be sure to start at Laura's blog HERE so you don't miss a thing. She has lined up a lot of amazing prizes!

I made a clean and simple card by die cutting three Band Aids Dies from cotton candy and schoolhouse cardstock. I staggered them on a panel backed with slate gray cardstock from Simon Says Stamp. The vellum is from Cosmo Cricket's Vellumptuous collection.

Please be sure to leave a comment all YouTube videos on this hop! The more you comment, the greater your chances of winning. Your next stop is the always amazing Jennifer McGuire!

I can't believe how realistic those bandaids look -- but the hearts in the middle make them super-cute, too. It really would be a perfect card for someone broken-hearted, wouldn't it? I hope you don't have need of the card for that reason! ;) Love the design.

Normally, I wouldn't be interested in band-aid dies or stamps but after seeing your video I am quite sure that I will order them. I now can imagine many uses for them. Thank you for making this video and the last one with the bunnies. Both are great crafting lessons.

DELIGHTFUL card Emily - it sure made me feel better :)

LOVE the band aids with the heart inlays and your vellum peeking through, great dies & stamps and fabulous card design. I ALWAYS enjoy watching you create and hearing you talk through your thought process!!!

THANK YOU for sharing your CREATIVE INSPIRATION!!!

PS - what FUN your son must be having with his special band aids ... perhaps a sign that you have a budding doctor in the family.

I love the idea of your son's first aid kit for stuffed animals! And the idea that "one day at a time" could work for a broken heart. Thanks for sharing.

Your card is super sweet!!! LOVE those band aids! My son is in the band-aid phase and wants them for the tiniest things - so we have to say; one band-aid a day...
