{My Favorite Things} Wednesday Sketch Challenge 389

I'm back with a card for My Favorite Things' Wednesday Sketch Challenge and it's another fun one! The first thing I saw was a boat but since I don't have anything that resembles a boat, I went with the next best thing - Beach Buds! I had two ideas, one using the rectangle (and if you bought the Aquarium, that would be perfect) but I went with my second idea using the Arch STAX dies.

I used the second largest of the Arch STAX dies to create a faux-shaker recessed window. I recut the arch from watercolour cardstock and used the Snow Drifts dies, masking paper and four distress inks to sponge the waves. Then I stamped all of the images and watercoloured them with distress inks.

I created my own sentiment using three of the sentiments provided in the Beach Buds set to create a new and unique sentiment - Have a Jawesome Day, You're Fintastic and Happy Birthday. I die cut it using one of the stitched sentiment strips from Blueprints 29. I sponged the top of the strip to match the coral holding the kelp, and the bottom to match the large fish's face which is the same colour as the twin fishes' tails.

To finish, I added clear round drops to mimic bubbles and to follow the three points indicated by the sketch.
