{Two Many Cards Video Series} featuring Waffle Flower: Always + Giveaway!

Hi, everyone! Kalyn and I are back with our video series, Two Many Cards. If you missed our first five videos in this series, check out the original post HERE, which explains how and why we're sharing our own unique take on the same products.

Today, we're featuring the Always Combo from Waffle Flower! The stamp set and coordinating dies are also sold separately. Complete supply links are at the bottom of this post.

I fell in love with this set the moment I saw the lovely girl. The mirrored florals and foliage, sweet bird and mixed font sentiments make this one of the most beautiful sets ever!

All of the images and sentiments were stamped with black pigment ink and heat embossed with clear powder. I watercoloured with Gansai watercolour paints and the full set and individual colours are also listed below.

I recessed the girl by stamping her on the back panel and popping the top panel up with foam tape. I used an x-acto knife to cut a slit above her hairband so I could tuck a flower into her hair. I added some leaves and a second bird under her arm at the base to balance the images with the sentiment that runs along her cascading hair.

I used the mirrored images to create an open wreath. That space represents the person addressed in the sentiment.

I used a pop of yellow in the flowers and on the bird. The red bird on both cards is a nice contrast to the darker colours. I used glue dots to adhere the florals so this card is flatter than the first one.

I love all the possibilities with the individual images in this set. I had a third idea using just the bird on its own and I look forward to sharing that with you in a future post.
