Club Sursee by Catherine Pooler Designs | December 2021 | Part 4 of 4

Today's inspiration is for Catherine Pooler's Basic Club Sursee and Deluxe Club Sursee subscribers with the December 2021 surprises. If you missed my previous posts HERE, HERE and HERE featuring the Warm and Cozy and Classic Adornments stamp sets, I hope you'll check them out!

Today's card also features the Warm Wishes Word Die, which is only included in the Deluxe Club Sursee subscription, along with the coordinating dies for the Warm and Cozy stamp set with the amazing thermoses. The Classic Adornments stamp set is filled with gorgeous florals and accent stamps. I rarely use all the tiny stamps this way but after making this card, I'm going to have to do it more often!

I created a front window panel and mask using the Nested Oval Dies, then stamped all of the flowers from Classic Adornments and the small berries from Warm and Cozy. As with all my cards for this month's Sursee, the colours were inspired by the A Little Drizzle Slimline Patterned Paper pack.

I die cut the Warm Wishes Word Die three times, using Juniper Mist and the ink-to-paper technique on the top layer, silver glitter cardstock for the shadow and an extra layer beneath that for added dimension.

If you're not already subscribed, I hope you'll consider subscribing to either Basic Club Sursee (two stamp sets) or Deluxe Club Sursee (two stamp sets and two dies) because these monthly kits never disappoint!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Club Sursee by Catherine Pooler Designs | December 2021 | Part 3 of 4

I hope you all had an amazing Christmas! Today's inspiration is for Catherine Pooler's Basic Club Sursee or Deluxe Club Sursee subscribers with the December 2021 surprises. As I mentioned in my previous posts HERE and HERE featuring the Warm and Cozy and Classic Adornments stamp sets, this month's theme is warm winter wishes, get well and general encouragement.

This card uses more of the beautiful thermoses and a sweet sentiment from the Warm and Cozy, plus layered floral stamps from Classic Adornments. Again, my colour choices were inspired by the A Little Drizzle Slimline Patterned Paper pack. The thermoses and holly were stamped previously when I made my first card.

I cut the panel using the Scallops & Dots Dies, then glued it on an additional layer for just a bit of dimension. Before attaching the thermoses and holly with foam tape, I stamped the flowers and sentiment in my mini MISTI stamping tool.

This card is a great way to combine the two stamp sets included in both the Club Sursee and Deluxe Club Sursee subscriptions. I hope you're enjoying your December surprises and finding new ways to use these beautiful stamp sets!

I'll be back soon with a closer look at one more card I made with these stamps and dies. If you're not already subscribed, I hope you'll consider subscribing because these monthly kits never disappoint.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spellbinders | December 2021 Large Die of the Month | New Year's Cards

I'm back with one last post for the Spellbinders December 2021 Club Kits and this card features the Large Die of the Month - Layered Stitched Background! I really hope this kit will be made available for individual sale because it's so gorgeous and fun to use.

There are three layers to this background die, including the stitching plate and frame, plus two layering plates which I cut from gold foil, gold glitter cardstock, silver foil and silver glitter cardstock.

This kit is stunning for embroiderers but you don't have to stitch them. They look beautiful simply die cut. I used two threads of DMC Diamant Metallic Thread in Red Ruby and Green Emerald to stitch the stars.

I used Bearly Arts liquid glue to adhered the glitter and foil layers to the embroidered base, as well as to the Schoolhouse Red and Pitch Black mattes, respectively. The card bases were cut from white woodgrain cardstock.

I heat foiled sentiments from the Mini Christmas Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil & Die Set using Aura Hot Foil on Schoolhouse Red cardstock and Matte Silver Hot Foil on Pitch Black cardstock. The die cut strips are popped up on foam tape.

Here's a list of kits I share each month and some of the value kits:

Spellbinders | December 2021 Clear Stamp & Die of the Month

I'm back with more inspiration for the Spellbinders December 2021 Club Kits and this card features the Clear Stamp & Die of the Month -- Color Outside the Lines! If you don't need or want the coordinating dies, you can simply subscribe to the Clear Stamp of the Month. This month's stamp set includes individual letters to spell a variety of phrases such as 'love you', 'hey you' and 'hello'. There are also hand drawn flowers with filler stamps so you don't have to colour.

I decided to create a very clean and simple, repetitive phrase in four colours -- Coral Cabana, Tiara, Melon Ice and Cummerbund. I layered them on a second die cut for a bit of dimension but still easy to mail. To create some visual interest, I used the Striped Slimline Embossing Folder on a white linen panel.

All of the layers were adhered using Bearly Art liquid glue. The card base was cut from Paradise cardstock which I thought was a close match to the Cummerbund ink. To finish, I added a few Jelly Heart Drops to fill in the empty space.

Club Sursee by Catherine Pooler Designs | December 2021 | Part 2 of 4

I'm back with more inspiration for Catherine Pooler's Basic Club Sursee or Deluxe Club Sursee subscribers. As I mentioned in my previous post featuring the Warm and Cozy stamp set and coordinating dies, this month's theme is warm winter wishes, get well and general encouragement.

Today's card uses the three hexagons from the stamp set with a sentiment from Classic Adornments, the other stamp set which you'll see more of soon. Once again, my colour scheme is based on the A Little Drizzle Slimline Patterned Paper.

I stamped all three hexagons in seven of the eight colours featured in the A Little Drizzle Slimline Patterned Paper pack -- It's a Girl, Coral Cabana, Samba, Limoncello, Lemongrass, Cummerbund and Suede Shoes.

I trimmed a 1/4" sliver of the striped patterned paper and attached it to the card base. Then I trimmed a 4" x 5.5" panel, stamping the sentiment from Classic Adornments in Juniper Mist. After arranging the hexagons around the sentiment, I popped up some with foam tape and glued others flat on to the panel. To finish the card, I added a few sequins from the Romance Sequin Mix to the centres of some of the hexagons.

If you're a Club Sursee or Deluxe Club Sursee subscriber, I hope you're enjoying your December surprises and finding new ways to use these beautiful stamp sets. I'll be back soon with a closer look at the other cards I made with these stamps and dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spellbinders | December 2021 Small Die of the Month

I'm back to share more of the Spellbinders December 2021 Club Kits and today's card features the Small Die of the Month - Sketched Florals & Frame! It includes a gorgeous scrolled frame with various flowers and leaves that have both outline dies and base dies.

Depending on how you use these Sketched Florals & Frame, your card will have very different looks. I die cut my frame from an A2 white linen panel. I die cut the frame a second time from brushed metal gold cardstock. The base of the card was also cut from white linen cardstock but the floral bases were cut from smooth heavyweight white cardstock.

I ran the outer part of the panel through the Love Stripes Embossing Folder to give it dimension. This is my favourite and most-used embossing folder to date. I love using it and will use it every chance I get!

I die cut the flowers and leaves from Azalea, Kiwi, Meadow, Mist, Paradise and gold glitter cardstock. Then I assembled all of the layers using Bearly Art liquid glue. The pieces were attached to the card base using a combination of liquid glue and mini glue dots.

This month's Small Die of the Month doesn't come with sentiments so I used a heat foiled sentiment from the Mini Sincere Sentiments Glimmer Hot Foil Plate & Die Set with Polished Brass Hot Foil on Pitch Black cardstock. I foiled this sentiment on every colour used on the flowers and leaves before deciding that it needed to be on black to stand out.

Club Sursee by Catherine Pooler Designs | December 2021 | Part 1 of 4

If you're a Basic Club Sursee or Deluxe Club Sursee subscriber, you're going to fall instantly in love with the  December 2021 surprise! This month's theme is warm winter wishes, get well and general encouragement. If you love warm drinks, hexagons and florals, you're going to flip over these sets. My colour scheme is based on the A Little Drizzle Slimline Patterned Paper and I love to make all my Sursee cards for the month with the same colours so they photograph nicely. It also makes it easier to plan out all my cards!

This card features the Warm and Cozy stamp set and coordinating dies. If you're a Basic Club Sursee subscribe, you'll receive two stamp sets and if you're a Deluxe Club Sursee subscriber, you'll receive two stamp sets and two dies. The dies are usually the coordinating dies to one of the stamp sets and a stand-alone die.

As you know, I'm a huge fan of drink-related stamp sets, especially when they're layering sets. Look at these cute thermoses, both modern and vintage! I love that they all have separate lids that you can stamp in different colours. They're too cute! All of the fill-in stamps are included, except the holly that I used to stamp the first slender thermos. I used a retired Sursee set called Sleigh Bells Ring but the holly from Let's Go Skating would look great and probably even better.

If you're a Club Sursee or Deluxe Club Sursee subscriber, your goodies are in transit and you'll be receiving your December 2021 goodies soon or maybe you already have them in your crafty hands! I hope you're inspired to create with this month's products and I'll be back soon with a closer look at the other cards I made with these stamps and dies.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Spellbinders | December 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit of the Month

It's time to share the Spellbinders December 2021 Club Kits and you're going to love this month's Glimmer Hot Foil Kit -- Botanical Crest! It includes a stunning hot foil wreath that comes with separate dies for the inside and outside of the wreath so you can use it in different ways.

It also comes with two sentiments, also with coordinating dies. This particular sentiment is most likely to be used as a birthday sentiment, just like the other sentiment, but I think it could also be used in lieu of a Happy New Year sentiment. I love making New Year cards so that's what I had in mind with this design.

I foiled both the wreath and sentiment using Gold Hot Foil and added the little flowers using gold mirror cardstock. To create the background, I die cut gold mirror cardstock and three different shades of green cardstock using the Color Block Slices.

I haphazardly adhered the slices to the card base and cut off the overhanging pieces. I used foam tape to pop up the top layer of the wreath before attaching it to the card base. To finish, I added pearls to the centres of the tiny gold flowers, which are also part of the December 2021 Glimmer Hot Foil Kit. You have until December 24th to subscribe to and receive this stunning Botanical Crest!

Today is the last day to link up your entries for the 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge to win a $100 gift certificate, as well as comment on all the Ellen Hutson blog posts for your chance to win one of three $25 gift certificates to the Ellen Hutson store. All of the Essentials by Ellen products I used on these tags are 25% off until 11:59pm PST tomorrow, December 17th using code EBEDEC2021.

These Shaker Globe tags were inspired by the following songs for the 12 Tags of Christmas Challenge: Day 4 -- Let It Snow, Day 5 -- I'll Be Home for Christmas, and Day 12 -- Holly Jolly Christmas.

I die cut these Shaker Globe tags from Juicy PearEaster Grass and Caramel Apple cardstock. Then I curved two sentiments from Merry Little Christmas and stamped them on the base of the globes.

Then I stamped images from Merry Little Christmas on the backs of two shakers and a sentiment from Retro Holiday Greetings on the third.

The holly tag features images from Holiday Sprigs, stamped with Rockin' Red, Martini and Spruce inks. The snow tag features the Snowflakes Dies in Peppermint and silver glitter cardstock, which is also bannered across the base of each globe and at the ribbon attachment. To finish, I filled each shaker with three types of star sequins and tied them off with ribbon and white twine.
