Welcome to the third Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in May! This week's challenge is Vacation or Travel, which means we want to see a vacation or travel theme on your project. I knew I wanted to use a bunch of Studio Calico's wood veneer shapes on my card and the best way to feature them was to die cut postage stamps from Studio Calico's Wanderlust 6x6 paper pad. I popped up the squares that form an X on the card and everything else is adhered with glue dots for extra texture and visual interest. The sentiment block in the centre is from Mama Elephant's XOXO stamp set.

I was a bit stumped for this week's challenge and had actually bought the same set of paper and wood veneer cutouts, but never came up with an idea this cute!!

I like it! What a fun way to use the veneer pieces and the postage stamp die. I have the wood pieces now I just need to find the dies. It's great to see an idea using something I've been just keeping in a box. Thanks for posting another great card.

So much fun! I love the Studio Calico wood veneer, too, especially for travel projects! I used them on my challenge project, too!
