VIDEO | Taylored Expressions | Pumpkin Pouch + Tag Team - Thanksgiving

I'm so excited to present my first Taylored Expressions Video Team project! These pumpkin pouches are so cute and make wonderful treat bags or fall decor. I used the new Felt Pumpkin Pouch Kit that includes two pre-cut pouches, four leaves and a supply of burlap twine for both pumpkins.

After the pouches were assembled, I die cut and stamped the tags with Tag Team Dies and the awesome new Tag Team - Thanksgiving stamp set. After the tags were attached, I used multi medium and a pencil to curl the twine into tendrils.

Thanks so much for watching!

Catherine Pooler Designs | May Your Season Be Sweet

I love non-traditional holiday colours so I used the cheerful colour palette from the Holiday Whimsy Patterned Paper as my inspiration for stamping these treats from the Sweetest Season stamp set.

I used a Merry Labels Die to cut out the window for the sentiment first so I would know which candies would be missing from the background. Then I placed the panel in my MISTI stamping tool to stamp once and turn the panel 180 degrees and stamp it again. This way, there's a fairly even representation of the colours and images.

To finish, I cut the Merry Labels Die three times, stamped the sentiment and adhered them in a stack for dimension. My favourite part of making this card was using a stamping block to stamp the tiny stars and fill in the spaces between the candies!

Studio Katia | Lunchbox Notecards with the Slider Tag Die

My son had a very successful first week at school and I hope for more of the same this week. It's been a long time since I made him lunchbox notecards an I think it's a great time to surprise him again. I wanted to make something cute, of course, yet different so the Slider Tag Die made its maiden voyage through my craft room.

Those of you who've been following me for a while know that my son loves to play Minecraft and has dressed his player as a Creeper ever since he first started playing. He even dressed as a Creeper for Halloween three years ago. Since there are no Minecraft emojis, we use the cactus emoji to represent the Creeper. Hence, the use of the Cactus Hugs stamp set for these little notecards.

The coloured images, top layer and pull tab were all die cut from watercolour cardstock and the back was die cut from kraft cardstock. All of the images and sentiment, from Potted Plants, were heat embossed. I used distress inks to watercolour the images and ink blend both the top layers and pull tabs. I misted the top layers with shimmer spritz, attached the images with foam tape and added coordinating hemp cord to finish.

Catherine Pooler Designs | Peace & Joy

Today's card features the new Peace & Joy Word Die from Catherine Pooler's Jolly Holiday Collection. It's so beautiful that I wanted to keep my card ultra clean and simple.

I used Laurel Beard's swinking technique and the two new ink colours, Cranberry Fizz and Deck the Halls to create a simple festive background for the die cut word, which is layered with black and gold glitter cardstock. I love how the two colours look when they meet!

To create the textured base, I used the Star Stencil to dry emboss the background. I used Catherine Pooler's premium white cardstock for swinking and dry embossing.

We had the pleasure of playing with products from Ranger Ink, Lawn Fawn and Catherine Pooler Designs! Damian's first card features the Distress Watercolour Crayon Kit from Ranger Ink. He used the Distress Crayons to create a grid background, added water and stamped the butterfly with Archival ink included in the kit. Then he added a frame using white foil cardstock and embellished the piece with polymer clay Bitty Paws.

We collaborated together on this second card featuring Lawn Fawn's Let's Go Nuts stamp set and Into the Woods 6x6 paper pack. Damian coloured the images with Copic markers and I stencilled the background using the Layered Lakeside Mountain stencils from Trinity Stamps. The card base uses Catherine Pooler's Essentials Slimline Dies.

Our third collaboration features Catherine Pooler's Nice List stamp set, and new ink colours Cranberry Fizz and Deck the Halls from the Jolly Holiday Collection which was just released yesterday. The images were heat embossed and Damian watercolored the images using the inks. I added fuzzy fun flock to the hat and popped up both images on mini action wobbles.

Catherine Pooler Designs | Jolly Holiday Collection Release Day!

I'm so excited that the Jolly Holiday Collection is finally here! All products are now available in the Catherine Pooler shop! Today, I'm featuring gift tags using the
Sweetest Season stamp set and coordinating dies. I love black and white tags so I thought I'd put a little spin on them by throwing in some red and kraft, too!

I used the largest of the Layered Tag Dies, cut out a glittery red border using the Morning Joe Dies, and stamped a Plaid Background on to Catherine Pooler's premium white cardstock. The candies themselves were also stamped on premium white cardstock. All of the stamping was done with Midnight Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I'll be back with more inspiration soon! :)

Evelin T Designs | A Halloween Story

I'm so excited to share this card with you because it turned out exactly how I had hoped it would! I had this lovely idea of a girl reading a spooky story and her interpretation of the story is brought to life in the vision above her.

I made this card by stamping images from Best Friends Fur-Ever and All Hallow's Cuteness, then creating masks for them. I used a retired Paper Smooches Quotables Die (alternates listed below) to create the separation between reality and fantasy. Then I used a My Favorite Things Cloud Stencil to sponge the background.

After the background was completed, I sprayed water droplets on the top panel and removed the masks. Then I watercoloured the images with distress inks and adhered the two panels to the card base. To add mystique, I used Studio Katia Iridescent Stars to both panels.

Studio Katia | All-Star Birthday

Can you believe it's September? I have a lot of birthdays to celebrate this month so I need to get started. I made this card for my youngest nephew who's turning 8 mid-month. He's the youngest of three kids but also the most athletic. He's good at every sport he tries so Sport-Balls Trimmings was the obvious choice for his card.

I heat embossed the image and watercoloured it with distress inks. After the panel dried, I die cut it with the coordinating Sport-Balls Trimmings Dies and set it aside. I created a slimline card base and die cut the front panel with Dotted Slimline Set 1.

I masked off the edges of the card base and used the Light Ray Stencil directly on the card base. I also created a mask for the image and continued the rays below the images. Then I curved the sentiment from Birthday Greetings against the oval die and heat embossed it on to the card base. To finish, I adhered the frame and image to the card with fun foam and added some Iridescent Stars.
