Catherine Pooler | Sneak Peeks for NEW Luxe Inks -- Martini & Uptown

I'm sharing this card as a follow up to my second Instagram Reel showcasing the next two colours in Catherine Pooler's next ink release! Six new colours in the Party Collection will be released this Wednesday, October 13th (or October 12th if you're a StampNation member) and they are vibrant and gorgeous. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for all the beautiful products being revealed starting Monday!

The tea pot, tag bag and cups are from the Cuppa Tea stamp set and coordinating dies which were part of a Stamp of Approval collection way back when. This stamp set is currently in the Last Chance sale section so be sure to grab it while you still can! It's one of my all-time favourite sets and I'm sad that it's being retired. The additional acorn and snowflake images on the cups are from the Warm My Heart stamp set.

I used one of my most-used border stamps from Good Times Bits and Borders, originally a Club Sursee stamp set, to create a tiled counter to anchor the cups. I stamped the rows in Uptown, Martini and Flame and I really love these three new colours together!

The two sentiments are from the Give Thanks Sentiments stamp set, which is really a must-have. I love the mix of sentiments, fonts and dimensions for the sentiments in this set. The drops were created by using the ink-to-paper technique with the Icing on the Cake ink pad and the Puddle Jumper Mini Cover Plate, also formerly a Club Sursee product.

{Stamp of Approval} Winterhaven Collection Bonus: Cheers & Warm Wishes

It's so exciting to see everyone creating with their Winterhaven Collection! At the time of this post, the collection is 90% sold out so be sure to get your box before they're all gone!! I wanted to make a card for Catherine and since it's only fall, I went with non-traditional colours for the poinsettia from 'Tis the Season. I first stamped it in Tiara Ink and then rock 'n' rolled it in Tiki Torch to make the tips darker. This creates an ombre effect with the two shades of ink.

I stamped all the foliage with Mint To Be Ink and Aquatini Ink. The berries were stamped with Something Borrowed Ink. The custom sentiment was created using words from Good Stuff Inside and an ampersand from And Sentiments. Again, I used the rock 'n' roll technique to stamp the words in two blues and ampersand in two yellows.

All papers are Catherine Pooler's Premium White Card Stock, which is the smoothest, most luxurious cardstock! It's a perfect match for her brand of inks, as well as alcohol markers. I was able to blend Mint To Be Ink into the Mod Squared Stencil so easily and it looks amazing close-up.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

{Stamp of Approval} Winterhaven Collection: Release Day!

It's release day and the Winterhaven Collection is now available for purchase! If you haven't already ordered yours, click HERE to grab a box before they're all gone!! You still have time to comment on the three-day hop for your chance to win the collection. If you have already purchased the box and happen to win one, you will be refunded. The card I'm sharing today uses the Winterhaven Dies for the village and hills. The frame was created by modifying the tag die from the Good Stuff Dies. I used the partial die cutting technique and flipped the die after cutting just the bottom half without the tab.

The sentiment is from the Here We Come A-Caroling stamp set, stamped with Aquatini ink. The berries are from the 'Tis the Season stamp set and coordinating dies, stamped with Rockin' Red ink.

{Stamp of Approval} Winterhaven Collection Blog Hop: Day 3

Welcome to Day 3 of the Stamp of Approval Winterhaven Collection blog hop! If this is your first time hearing about Stamp of Approval, this is an exclusive collection designed exclusively for this particular box. The stamps and dies in the Stamp of Approval Collections are brand new on the market and won’t be released for individual sale for several months.  I'm thrilled to be a part of this blog hop with the Stamp Nation Dream Team and several guest designers!

I have two cards to share with you today. This first one features four of the products in the Winterhaven Collection. First, I second-generation stamped the Ornamental Background using Mint To Be ink.

Then I die cut and watercoloured the wreath from the Joy Wreath Dies using six Catherine Pooler inks, all of which are listed below in the supply lists below. The sentiments, star and music notes are from the Here We Come A-Caroling stamp set, and the dashed lines are from the Good Stuff stamp set.

I attached the white panel to the kraft card base before attaching the watercoloured wreaths. Then I trimmed the overhanging pieces.

My second card features the 'Tis the Season stamp set, and coordinating dies which will be sold as add-ons. I used Catherine Pooler inks and the ink smooshing technique to watercolour the background.

The inks give such amazing, smooth and vibrant stamping coverage on the poinsettias and foliage! The floral arrangements with this set are endless and you can use them to create beautiful cards all year long for so many different occasions.

Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way. The more you comment, the better your chances of winning! Day 1 and Day 2 hop lists are posted on Catherine's blog. One winner will be chosen at random from each day's comments and announced on October 11th at 9:00 a.m. EST on Catherine's blog. The winners will win their box and if you happen to win but have already purchased the collection, you will be refunded.

{Stamp of Approval} The Perfect Reason Collection: Release Day!

It's release day and The Perfect Reason Collection is now available for purchase! If you haven't already ordered yours, click HERE to grab a box before they're all gone!! You still have time to comment on the three-day hop for your chance to win the collection. If you have already purchased the box and happen to win one, you will be refunded. Go HERE to see all the stops along the hop and be inspired by this amazing collection!

The card I'm sharing today uses the rest of the sets that I didn't cover in the two cards I shared on Day 1 of the release hop. It features the Mod Squared Stencil with pearlescent embossing paste on grey cardstock.

I also used the Perfect Vine Dies in vellum behind the flower cluster created with the Perfect Reason stamp set. All stamping, except for the sentiment from the You Did It stamp set, was stamped off for a softer look.
