{Neat & Tangled} March Release Week: Day 5

Hi, everyone! It's the final day of Neat & Tangled's March Release and, today, the design team is featuring the Giving Tree stamp set, the second set from  May Sukyong Park for this release.

I thought it would be so fun to pair up the stamps from this woodland set with a cat from Meowwwww. LOL! On the inside, you could also stamp a very content cat lying on its back with the sentiment 'thank you', also from Giving Tree. ;)

The top of this card was, of course, inspired by the amazing Jocelyn Olson who uses hand-cut papers and stitched sequins like no other. She's in a league of her own when it comes to these kinds of details. The star sequins are from Gold Dust and the pink and red sequins are from Full of LoveI sprayed the doily with Studio Calico Shine mist.

I used a lot of masking to place grass around the cat, as well as to create my custom sentiment without the wood parts around it. I also moved the exclamation mark from the 'hello' to the 'love'. I added some very light shading with grey and mint Copic markers.

There's a GIVEAWAY! Be sure to leave a comment on the Neat & Tangled Blog for your chance to win the Giving Tree stamp set!

All release products are now available for purchase. Go forth and shop! :D

What cute images. Love how you used them and love how you did the top of your card Emily. Tiny little details that make your card.

Awww...thanks for the shout-out. :) You know I'm totally loving how you layered the papers at the top and the stitched sequins!! Gorgeous! The scene with the owl and cat is so funny. The black and white is very chic!!

How nice that the cat is saying "hello love" and not "hello dinner"! :P I really like the main scene in black and white with the fun detailing at the top!
