Spellbinders | Love You Lots feat. Sealed 3D Botanical + Bayfair by Rosie's Studio Collections

As I mentioned in THIS post from last week, I'm absolutely in love with the Bayfair Card Maker's Kit, part of the Bayfair by Rosie's Studios Collection. However, today's post is really about the newly-released Sealed 3D Botanical Collection from SpellbindersI chose to work with the Fresh Picked Labels and Tag Dies because I love this unique shape. Please visit THIS post from two days ago showing a unique way to use these labels.

Going back to the Bayfair by Rosie's Studios Collection, I'm completely obsessed with these patterned papers from the Bayfair 6x6" Designer Paper Pad and I selected a luxurious floral pattern for the card base, which I cut using the largest of the Precision Layering A2 A Dies.

Next, I used the Fresh Picked Labels and Tag Dies to cut the Dahlia-coloured paint swatch pattern, two layers of vellum, and a frame from Portobello cardstock. After adhering all the layers together with liquid glue and a tape runner, I die cut all of the floral pieces from the Floral Spray Dies.

These flowers and those stunning leaves have quickly become my favourite go-to floral set! I layered the big flowers with Pink Sandvellum and Dahlia cardstock. The centres were cut from Indigo and Beeswax cardstock. The smaller flowers were cut from Snowdrift and Beeswax cardstock. The leaves and stems were cut from Fern cardstock. You can find all of these colours and more in the Bayfair 12x12" Cardstock Pack.

After arranging all of the elements, I used a combination of liquid glue, glue dots and foam squares to adhere all the pieces to the patterned paper panels for various levels of dimension. To finish, I added a sentiment from the Bayfair Chipboard Embellishments.

Spellbinders | Bayfair Card Maker's Kit by Rosie's Studio

I recently had the pleasure of creating with the Bayfair Card Maker's Kit from Bayfair by Rosie's Studios Collection, available from Spellbinders. In the past, I found card kits to be creatively restrictive but when I saw this colour palette and all of the amazing goodies included, I couldn't resist. I have never had as much fun working with a card kit as I've had when working with this amazing collection.

Being a lifelong city girl, I rarely get to visit the beach. Unless I'm on a cruise or visiting a resort with girlfriends, most of my vacations are in cities far away from the beach. I definitely need to plan a trip to the beach after playing with the Bayfair Card Maker's Kit!

I made this card by creating a card base using the Nested Postage Labels & Tag Dies and Raindrop cardstock. This cardstock colour is sold individually or as part of the Bayfair 12" x 12" Cardstock Pack that coordinates perfectly with the products in the Bayfair Card Maker's Kit and Bayfair by Rosie's Studios Collection.

I selected a blue damask patterned for the A2 postage-shaped card base and a sailboat pattern for the stitched rectangle mat. You can find these papers in both the Bayfair Card Maker's Kit and the Bayfair 6x6" Designer Paper Pad, sold separately. Then I arranged four different ephemera pieces on top. There are two of each design included in the kit and Bayfair Cardstock Diecut Ephemera, if you were interested in adding more to your stash.

I selected a sentiment from the Bayfair Puffy Stickers, also included in the kit or sold separately. After trimming off the edges of the laurel, I glued small pieces of Snowdrift cardstock to the back of the ephemera for added stiffness. Then I adhered all the pieces to the patterned paper with foam squares.

I hope you enjoyed today's project! I'll be sharing more from the Bayfair by Rosie's Studios Collection soon, here and on the Spellbinders Blog. Be sure to check out the Buzz-Worthy Club Deals and save up to 25% off on Select Past Clubs now through June 8, 2024.
