I'm so excited to be creating with these stunning products from Pigment Craft. As I mentioned in my video, Pigment made its debut just over a year
ago and I still covet literally everything they release! I decided to
make two cards using the same colour palette.
The colour palette I'm using for both my cards includes the following colours: Blush, Tajine, Rosewood, Ficus, Lagoon, Juniper and Balsam. The first card uses Ficus but not Juniper and the second card uses Juniper but not Ficus.
I started this card by using the Spring Flower Stencil to create the background. I ended up cutting the 6x6 panel vertically along the left edge.
To create the sentiment, I used the Wish Upon a Dandelion stamp set and coordinating dies. I created the ombre effect on the 'lovely' word by using a blending brush and adding Tajine and Rosewood to the Blush-stamped word.
My second card is a shaped-card made with the Jumbo Candy Die, which I'm now completely obsessed with! This is sized very similar to a mini slim card or you can use it as a focal point on an original slimline.
I love all the detail and because it's so adorable dressed up with bows from the Ribbons + Wreaths stamp set and coordinating dies. I used a mini stencil mat to ink blend the insert pieces for the candy. From the ends inward, the ink colours are Lagoon, Blush, Tajine, and Rosewood.
To create the sentiment, I used the Oh Hi stamp set and must-have coordinating dies, which gives you so many options for creating this sentiment. The 'sweets' word is from the A Note of Hand stamp set and the little heart is from the Sweater Weather stamp set.
I hope you were inspired by these products from Pigment Craft! Please continue reading to discover additional giveaways, gifts with

Since then, I've acquired a few more sets, including Summer Sunshine and Fun Adventure. I combined them here with a couple of leftovers from Rabbit Cafe. I bought Summer Sunshine just for the adorable sunbathing cat and I figured now's as good a time as any to use it! LOL
Most of the images on this card are from Summer Sunshine, the mountains are from Fun Adventure, and the rabbit and takeout cup are from Rabbit Cafe. They were all stamped with Versafine Onyx Black pigment ink and clear embossed, then watercoloured with distress inks.
I set the images aside to dry while I die cut and ink blended the slimline background using some of the same colours I used to watercolour the images. The slimline dies I used are from Trinity Stamps, however I've linked to alternates that you can use to achieve the same results and you can get 20% off those alternates at Scrap 'n Stamp using the code below.
After die cutting the water, foam, sand and sky panels, I added colour to them with ink blending tools. Then I spritzed the bottom three panels with water. I added shimmer to the water and splatter to the sand for visual interest and texture. To finish, I added the background to a scalloped gold glitter mat and popped it on to a pale rose card base.
Hello! I hope all my friends in North America are enjoying their long weekend. I used digital stamps from Angie Blom Digital Designs, one of the 2nd Annual Canada Day Video Hop sponsors to make two cards. The one on the left uses the Canada Day Gnomie Kit and the one on the right uses the Living My Best Life Kit.
Digital stamps are so easy to use. On my first card, I simply dragged the transparent .png files into any plain document like Word, Pages or Canva, moved them around and sized them to how I wanted the scene to look. The second card used one of Angie's already-made printouts which comes in the digital kit. Super easy! Then I printed both scenes on Neenah 80lb cardstock and let it sit so the ink would not smear when I used my Copic markers on it.
I trimmed both panels down and added some stitching details, attaching the panels to the card bases with some retired patterned papers for visual interest. I added some iridescent crystals from another one of our event sponsors. All of Angie Blom Digital Designsare 50% off through July 5, 2021 as part of the 2nd Annual Canada Day Video Hop!

I'm so excited to be creating with these stunning products from Pigment Craft Co. As I mentioned in my video, this new Canadian company launched in March 2021 and I'd been coveting literally everything they've released! I decided to make two cards using the same products and colours to show how you can get two completely different looks.
I started with the Delicate Floral Background Stamp and Stencil Bundle. On this first card, I stamped the background with black dye ink. Then I used a variety of blender brushes and the following ink colours to fill in the background with the coordinating stencils: Catching Rays, Bellini, Coral Cabana, Cummerbund and Daydream. All of these products are linked in the supply list below. The stencils are so perfect for days when you don't want to colour or maybe you're not keen on colouring to begin with. I just love the results!
First, I die cut the sentiment from black cardstock, then heat embossed best ever in white. I layered day using WOW Calypso embossing glitter but it was too sheer on its own so I added a second layer of white on top and added two more layers of Calypso on top. It's so sparkly and beautiful! The rest of the sentiment was stamped with black pigment ink on vellum and clear embossed.
For my second card, I stamped the Delicate Floral Backgroundon kraft cardstock and used the following inks with blender brushes and the coordinating layering stencils: white pigment ink, Bellini, Coral Cabana, Samba and Daydream. I adore the look of white pigment ink on kraft and this colour combo would make a lovely holiday card!
I re-cut the die from black and silver glitter cardstock and adhered them together by offsetting each layer to create shadows, allowing the sentiment to pop off the background. To finish, I trimmed the panels down and adding strips of cardstock as a contrast to the base and complement the sentiments.

Welcome to the Canada Day Video Hop! It was only a month ago that a few crafty friends and I discussed the idea of coordinating a video hop to celebrate Canada Day. I'm thrilled that this event grew as much as it did and I'm so grateful for the enthusiasm of our generous sponsors. I hope that you'll find today's video hop to be full of inspiration and also discover a few new crafty Canadian YouTubers, as well as Canadian shops!

My video for today features 3 Ways to Use Slimline Dies featuring Studio Katia products. Studio Katia is one of our generous sponsors, giving away 10 $25 gift certificates in this hop so be sure to leave a comment at every stop!
I made three projects featuring both new and older products. All of my projects use the Dotted Slimline Set 2 dies as a base. This die set comes with three pieces and my first card uses the largest die as the card base and the medium die as a scalloped mat. I used the Craftastic stamp set and coordinating dies, plus Vanilla Luster Fusion sequins to create a shaker card.
My third project is a bookmark that uses the smallest die from the Dotted Slimline Set 2 dies. At 2" x 7", it was the perfect size for a bookmark. The gorgeous flowers are from the Lovely Blooms stamp set and the sentiment is from the You're So Ranunculus stamp set.
All of the images were stamped, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and watercoloured with distress inks. I've linked to all of the my supplies below.
