Kim's illustrations are sure to make anyone smile or laugh out loud. Calorie Free does both and it's my favourite set from the November release. When I saw the sentiments, I knew that I wanted to make a group of foodie friends having a conversation.

The taco, its sentiment, sushi rolls and its sentiment are all from the Calorie Free stamp set. The box of fries and its sentiment are from Think Fast. The hamburger (or 'secret' the box of fries is hiding) is from Alfresco. The Word Bubbles and base of the card use patterned paper from Dear Lizzy's Lucky Charm collection. I added googly eyes in three different sizes proportionate to the food items. LOL

Thanks so much for stopping by today. Remember to check the Paper Smooches Blog on Monday to see if you are the lucky winner of the Calorie Free stamp set!

See you tonight at the November Release Party on the Splitcoast Forum after Halloween, at 10:00 p.m. EST, for even more chances to win! Bring a drink and any leftover candy. ;)

{Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge} Anything Goes with Simon Exclusives

Welcome to the final Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in October! This week's challenge is Anything Goes featuring Simon Says Stamp Exclusives. You don't have to use Simon Exclusives but we'd love to see them if you have them! I used the From Us stamp set and the Curved Edge die to create a set of four note cards, including two thank you cards and two birthday cards. I love that these are completely flat and easy to mail.

I've wanted to make cards in this style for a while now and when I received the From Us stamp set and Curved Edge die, everything came together beautifully. As you can see in the photo below, I cut curved panels of patterned papers from Hey You and Hey Boy that show at the bottom of the card when closed but leave enough white space inside the card for writing personal messages.

After the cards were done, I packaged them together with envelopes in a clear bag, tied the package with May Arts' new Antique Gold burlap string and dressed it up with a glittery gold die cut heart from Large Holiday Shapes (also a Simon Exclusive) and a mini clothes pin.

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!

It could be you!

I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. :)

{Paper Smooches} Life is a Circus... Enjoy + Video!

This is my second post of the day.
If you're looking for my {Mama Elephant} Designer Series: Toy Shop post, please scroll down or CLICK HERE.

Kim is sharing this card on the Paper Smooches Blog today. There's an extra week this month so you'll get four days worth of design team projects before the November stamps and dies are released! Both the monthly design team blog hop and the release party on the Splitcoast Forum will take place this Thursday, on Halloween, starting at 9:00 a.m. EST and from 10:00 p.m. to midnight EST, respectively. As always, there will be tons of fun, games, inspiration and prizes to be won. You don't want to miss it!

Today's card features the Enjoy the Show stamp set and coordinating Circus Icons dies. I also used the Shadows stamp set to ground the clown. Here's the video:

For the card base, I used this circus tent card cut file from Silhouette America. The clown was just calling for his own circus tent and he looks so good in it, don't you think? I did have to make a second tent for my son to craft with. ;) This set is so much fun for kids' projects and birthdays. Pair it up with another new release, as I'll demonstrate in November, and its versatility increases tenfold.

The Enjoy the Show stamp set and coordinating Circus Icons dies will be available for purchase at 12:00 a.m. EST on Friday, November 1st.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
