CAS Christmas Trees

I know, I know! These aren't Pink Cat Studio? LOL I admit I have a huge addiction to PCS rubber and now digi stamps, too, but I promised myself I would make something with some of my other stamps that are feeling highly neglected. Sunshine Designs are my absolute favourite for Christmas I cannot wait 'til the CreativFestival in two weeks when I'm going all out. I've never seen this brand readily available anywhere else so I'm definitely going to be treating myself this year. They had so many fabulous ones last year and I was too overwhelmed to choose. I only took home two sets. Can you imagine?! I won't be making that same mistake this year. LOL These trees are several years old so I'm not sure they're still available but I really love them and use them every Christmas.

First I cut out all the snow and then I stamped all my trees to colour. The colouring was so much fun! Cutting out all the trees was more painstaking, especially since the star on the Stripe Tree kept falling off. Oops! The Swirl Tree was the hardest to colour and the Loop Tree was the hardest to shade. I kept the Circle Tree on the right side of all the cards because it's my favourite of the four and I ended up with more of these. I also alternated the colours of the stitched border with the sentiment ink. I'll probably make more of these for my Christmas stash but I'll probably alternate the heights of the trees and mix it up a little. I also bought some new metallic silver and gold thread and can't wait to use it on some cards! Here's my first attempt at a grid to show you all four cards:

Sources: SU kraft cardstock; TPH 111lb matte white cardstock; EK Success dotted wave edger punch; Sunshine Designs CRSW004CU(lg) Christmas Words; SU Garden Green ink; Vivid! Red ink; Gutermann thread; Halcraft smooth white cardstock; Sunshine Designs CG030 Christmas Trees; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; Copics; dimension squares
