Birthday Girl

I made this card for my friend Lexy's first daughter who's turning four next month. She's having an animal birthday party where a herpetologist will be bringing all sorts of animals for edu-tainment. The animal she wanted most was a turtle so this Pink Cat Studio image of Lily riding a turtle was perfect! On this card, I used the dotted lines from Top Ten to create the frame and lines for the sentiment. The sentiment itself was created using a combination of three different stamps from three different sets, Tiny Treats: Valentine, Outlines Alphabet and Butterfly Dreams. I also initiated two more recently acquired sets, Polka Dot Basics II and Outlines Alphabet. This card is unlike anything I've made before and I really love how simple, yet bright and cheery it turned out! Remember, the colour pink and I don't mix well and I rarely choose to work with it. However, this card may completely change my mind about that. ;Þ
