Happenings of the Heart

Since my camera's broken and I haven't had the chance to buy a new one, I thought I'd share a fun post of things that made me smile.

A couple of days ago, I receive an exciting package from the lovely Angela! About a week ago, we had decided on a swap: a PTI 3rd anniversary set for some goodies from MAC Cosmetics. I can't wait to use my set and I hope you love your delicious makeup, Ang! ;)

I found yet another use for my PTI boxes. Not only are they perfect for Unity's KOTMs, they're also perfect for Starving Artistamps sets. Speaking of Unity, have you seen the September KOTM? I don't know if I can wait three weeks. Why do they have to torture us for two weeks before sending them out??

Last night, I found out that I won a guest designer spot for the Splitcoaststampers Fall CAS term! My adorable friend Meg also won a spot. I'm absolutely thrilled to be sharing the spotlight with all of the talented crafters out there and I can't wait for the new season to start... in three days to be exact!

This morning, I found out that my ridiculously talented friend Sunghee opened up her own hybrid template store, Little Potato House. You should definitely check out what she has to offer because she comes up with the most adorable and unique templates that you've ever seen anywhere!! I know Sunghee will be very successful and I hope that you'll share my passion for her work. Check out her blog here and her store here.

I took this photo of the city while we were on the ferry to the islands last Friday for some fun at Centreville. I'm glad my sister's plane landed this morning before the thunderstorms rolled in. We're looking forward to a fun weekend with the kids even though temperatures will be significantly cooler! Labour Day weekend usually does mark the end of summer here in Toronto. I hope you all enjoy the last long weekend of the summer! :)

That chairs stamp in the Unity KOM is just too cute! Love your storage solutions, too. My makeup is not only delicious, it's capital-Q Quality! Love! The eyeshadow's lasted all day without primer, which is a feat for me.
Can't wait to see what you make with the new goodies (and whatever newer goodies you have now!). Have fun with the fam.
