Merry and Bright {The Twinery Dec Project #1}

I made these for a customer who wanted to send out some special Christmas cards to his higher end clients. These look simple but were somewhat time-consuming given the masking, piercing and bow-tying required. I'm not sure I'll be tying many more bows after this set. LOL

I used the gorgeous Unity set Embellished Season for the ornaments and a sentiment from the November Kit of the Month - Picture Perfect. The twine is, of course, from The Twinery! I used four different colours of twine and mixed and matched them so there are only two cards that have the same two colours in the same order.

Thanks to all to sent well wishes for my back. I'm now pain-free thanks to my wonderful chiropractor! We are having extremely cold weather with flurries here in Toronto. I hope you're keeping warm and staying well where you are. :)

Sources: SU Naturals Ivory cardstock; Unity Embellished Season; Unity November 2010 Kit of the Month - Picture Perfect; SU Riding Hood Red & Old Olive inks; Memento Tuxedo Black ink; The Twinery baker's twine in Maraschino, Lemondrop, Caribbean & Cappuccino; paper piercer; embroidery needle

Glad you're feeling better :)
Love the double-ornament, twined-up design -- and I'd totally be sick of bow-tying too! I'm sure the recipient and his clients will love them!

This is one of those cards that takes my breath away - I love the masked ornaments and the way the sentiment echoes the line of them. A good chiropractor is wonderful!

These one-layer cards are so classy and elegant! Bows are so unfair; they look like they should be simple, but they're so finickity!
