Unity FWF Blog Hop {Feb 4th} + a Winner!

I missed last week's FWF blog hop so I'm happy to be hopping with you all today! Be sure to check out the Unity Blog later this morning for a full list of participants. Look for the FWF blinkie and leave a comment on that blog for a chance to win 25 random Unity stamps. My theme today is baby boys!

I had to make two baby boy cards, one for my sister and one for a friend. These use the same colours but in completely different styles. The animals are from my all-time favourite Unity Kit of the Month, July 2010's Happily Ever After. The sentiment repeated on the hills is also from the same set and the sun is from When I Am With You.

The journaling block that serves as a backdrop for this second card, as well as the sentiment, are from To the Moon & Back. I masked off the scripted 'memories' sentiment on the top line of the journaling block to accommodate a more appropriate sentiment for this occasion.

On Wednesday, I announced a little giveaway of two Unity stamps and Random.Org has drawn lucky number 15 who is Erin Thiem. Congratulations, Erin! Please email me at artsy_em at hotmail dot com with your mailing address and those beautiful stamps will be yours. If I don't hear from you by Sunday, February 6th at 11:59pm, then I will draw another winner.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Now hop along to the blog of Unity Artista Joslyn Nielson!

Holy cats, I love these cards. You know I'm already a sucker for those little animals...and now that I have them, I have no reason to make baby cards! Well, not yet -- in a couple months, they'll finally get a workout.

Both cards rock -- love the stamped hills on the first one, and the stitched-and-stamped frame on the second is a genius idea!
