Pink Cat Studio ~ Mar 10th Digi Release!

It's another fabulous Pink Cat Studio digi release! Today we have five lucky St. Patrick's Day digis to bring out the Irish in you. I personally feel lucky to know you all! These cards are for all of you amazing followers out there who stop by every day or on occasion and leave comments that make my day. Thank you!!

I ended up making another set with three of the images plus one from last year that I never used. I stamped the same Unity sentiment on all of them because it was the closest thing I had to a St. Patrick's Day sentiment, plus it's pretty generic and who wouldn't love to hear that, right? ;)

Let's start with the gnomey leprechaun since I coloured him first. Well, actually, I print all my images on the same sheet and then colour all the skin tones first, then move on to hair, clothes, etc. The leprechaun was finished and cut out first. I added silver glitter glue to his buckles. I used a couple of different sets of Tim Holtz tissue tape to create the frames around the kraft panels. You can find the details in the sources at the bottom of this post.

You can see in this photo that my son was completely obsessed with this one. He kept asking, "What yum-yum that guy have?" while pointing to the little pot of coins.

He uses the term 'yum-yum' to describe any food which I think is so cute. That makes it sound like my son is obsessed with food, doesn't it? LOL I guess he was just hungry at the time I was trying to photograph my cards! At least he didn't snatch the card away this time. :Þ

My second card uses Betty's Rainbow Slide from last year's St. Patty's Day release. This image is more generic and could be used for a host of occasions. There were quite a few images from last year that I never used and I really like this one so I had to throw it in this set.

I couldn't resist giving her a super sparkly dress!

Back to the current release, next up is Lucky Betty with her gold coin and clover antennas. I just had to add a bit of glitter on her buckle, too.

Last but not least, here are the pixies and their giant cauldron of gold coins. The hair accessories have silver glitter on them and the wings are covered with Diamond Stickles. I'm not happy with the way I coloured the cauldron but since I went through the trouble of cutting it out... LOL

It's obvious that I love cutting out my Pink Cat Studio images! Some of you already know this because you've asked me over private emails but I actually use cheap children's scissors to cut. *GASP* They are finally driving me insane and hurting my hand. This could be old age or maybe they're getting too dull but I've ordered the nice EK Success Cutter Bee ones and hopefully they'll be here soon.

Thank you again for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed today's release! For more inspiration, please check out the Pink Cat Studio Blog or the design team links on my sidebar. Have a lucky day! ;)

I love these, not a St Patrick's girl at all, but if I did get into it these would be fun. Great choice of paper with the kraft.

Your little guy is too funny! "Yum-yum". I may start using that one myself.
All of these are gorgeous and I have to agree with Kasia - your colouring is, as always, stunning and the little details really bring the cards to life. :) I want Betty's sparkly dress!

Ooh, tissue tape! Way to go :)
Love these cute, cute images -- and all that glitter too.

{and now I'm adding "yum-yum" to "hot boss" in my personal slang lexicon. Hee.
