My Number One Star

Yesterday, Paper Crafts announced the details for Gallery Idol, Season Five. The prizes are amazing, aren't they? The theme for the Open Auditions round is congrats cards and I was inspired by Roary, the Racing Car (and hence the title of this post) which is originally a British kids' TV show but has made its way over to North America and is now one of my son's favourites. We even bought a collection of the stories from Amazon.co.uk!

As previously seen HERE, I made a banner out of the tickets and stamped them with all of the congratulatory sentiments from Just the Ticket. I used the same technique as in the linked card but didn't use twine to link the pieces. Instead, I filled those spaces with rhinestones. The tickets were adhered directly to the impressed background and the die cut star and '1' were adhered with foam tape.

Will you be auditioning for Gallery Idol? The more the merrier! :D

Before I go, don't forget about The Twinery and PSA Essentials Blog Hop all week long! Be sure to stop by The Twinery Blog HERE to find out all the details. I will be a part of the hop on Friday and I can't wait to show you my project!!

Aw, I miss Roary :) Have you seen Chuggington? Also adorable, and I think it's on Treehouse. My favourite shows were always the British ones. Hmm.
I really love how striking this card is - the embossing sets everything off so perfectly!
