Jane's Doodles {Hello}

Happy Friday! I'm here to share another Jane's Doodles card with you. This one uses all but one of the animals in the Garden Friends set. I stamped them individually on white cardstock, coloured them in with Copic markers and fussy cut them. I wanted to make a collage but I couldn't figure out how to organize all the animals. That's when I called in my husband and he did it right away. I love that he's so good at puzzles. It's a very handy skill to have when cardmaking, too. LOL The animals needed a subtle background so I used the grass from Hero Arts' Whimsical Houses. The bee is the only one that I moved from the position my husband suggested, which was above the bird. I liked it flying toward the apple but that was the perfect spot for the sentiment so I popped the bee one level higher above the turtle's shell.

What are your weekend plans? Today, I have a lot of cleaning up to do to get the condo ready for showings again after the flood we had on Tuesday night. Then I'll be meeting Jen Wills for dinner and maybe some stamping beforehand if we have time! ;) Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!!

I think it's always a good idea to deviate a _little_ from the husbandly advice! The layout -- including the bee -- is perfect. And the colouring is too, of course! :)

L'abeille sur la tortue c'est aussi originale. Moi je l'aurais vu sur la pomme. Mais c'est trop beau ce que vous faites.

I don't think you could EVER make a card I would NOT like. I just adore this card. It just makes me happy. All these images and all the colors. Just make me smile. I love the sentiment and grass. And love the little bee that looks like he's is buzzing around. What a helpful hubby. Bet he likes to be included in what you do too. So so so cute Emily.

Such a happy Noah's ark card for after a flood (sorry about that
;(). Hope the condo rainbow comes out soon.

Hey! You've gone over 300 followers since I was away! I kept checking since it was at 299 for a while & it was just so close, ya know? lol

I really love how this turned out - the dimension is awesome, and how cute are all these little critters? That heart-shaped wing is just sweet, and ack! a cute worm! Love it.

It still floors me that your hubby is actually into this - mine grunts if he's asked for an opinion, or offers a "I don't know what you want me to say." Ugh.

Flood? Bad. Very bad. I hope it's all taken care of easily.
