Happily Ever After

I kind of went into panic mode (something that's quite common these days) when I realized I hadn't completed a client order which is due this weekend. My neighbour needed a card for the wedding she's attending on Saturday. Luckily, she showed me the invitation because I haven't made a wedding card in more than a year and I'm out of practice.

I pulled out some much neglected Papertrey Ink supplies for this card. I used Side Two of the In Bloom impression plate for the background to mirror the letterpressed invitation. Then I used Side One to impress my cardstock before die cutting it with the Beautiful Blooms II #2 die collection to make the rose.

I layered a Double-Ended Banners die over the Edgers #1 die and stamped the sentiment from Botanical Silhouettes in two parts. The leaves and centre of the rose are embellished with clear rhinestones. My photos seem dark today and don't show the embossing very well but you can click on any of the photos to see them larger.

Thanks for stopping by today! I hope to have some good news to share with you at the end of the week!
