Growing in Unity {Day 2}

I'm back to share more of Unity's beautiful stamps. Today's card is a very simple one-layer card using an itty bitty called Relax, Renew, Restore by Webster's Pages. When I first saw this, I not only fell in love with the gorgeous lilac image but also the fabulous sentiment. It's a good reminder for me this week as I'm starting to feel better physically. Emotionally, I still have some bad days but I know time will heal.

I used three Stampin' Write markers to selectively ink the image. I can imagine different colour variations and several other sentiments that would work well with the lilac. Remember to leave a comment on each Growing in Unity post this week for a chance to win two itty bitty stamps of your choice!

The lilacs are just blooming here - I'm really allergic but I can't resist sticking my face into them anyway. Such a springy smell! I love the multi-inking and the sentiment really is fabulous :) Hugs!

Hello my dear Emily!

How are you? I've been away on vacation, cruising the mediterranean with my family-in-law, so that's why I haven't been around so much here, but I just checked out all the cards I missed and they are all so pretty and so is this one!!
But I also read your very open and sad story about the bad times you've been experiencing. I'm so sorry for you and your family for this. Good thing you already have such a wonderful and uplifting son! Hope you will find a way to deal with this together and that you will also feel all better physically again soon! All the best to you and do know I'm thinking of you and sending you warm and happy thoughts!!!!

Big hug!
Wendy

Simply beautiful! I have such fond memories of lilacs from my youth. Sadly, they don't grow in my part of Texas. So happy you are feeling better!

This is so beautiful! I don't often use the technique of coloring my stamps with various color inks but this is inspiring me to try it more often.
So glad you are healing: just take all the time you need. Hugs

Lilacs are my favorite too. They bloom for so short a time, the card will help to keep them around a little longer.
