Since this is the last day of my Growing in Unity week, I'd like to share one of the four
Unity cards I had published in
Card Creations: Volume 10. I combined three stamps from three different sets to make this card. I chose the colours as I normally do, by moving my ink pads around and seeing which ones look good together. I started by stamping the alphabet border, from
What I Know, from the bottom up and made sure that I didn't stamp them in the same area each time. That way you see different alphabets on each strip and it creates movement. Afterwards, I randomly tore a piece of scrap paper to use as a mask for the
Stars of Worn background. I masked the top of the card and stamped the stars on top of the alphabet border. To finish, I stamped the sentiment from
Favorite Sentiments and adhered the mat to the card base.
You have until 2:00 a.m. EST Saturday morning to comment on all five of my Growing in Unity posts this week. Sometime tomorrow, I will announce the winner via Random.org and that lucky lady will win two itty bitty stamps of her choice from Unity Stamp Company. Thank you, Unity, for having me as the Growing in Unity Gal this week! And thank you to everyone who came by to see what I made. It's always a pleasure having you here. :)

I've kinda been under a rock lately and just happened to notice over on the Unity blog that you are this week's GIU gal! Just had to swing by to see everything you've been up to. Lovely posts for this week (including this stunning card--it popped right off the pages of the mag when I first saw it)! I had to backtrack through your thread to read more about your recent loss. I'm so very, very sorry, Emily. It sounds like you've had so very much to deal with recently. Please know that I am thinking of you. Hang in there!
Another incredible card!!! Thanks so much for sharing - I love how you put it together!
