{Hero Arts} Holiday Cards
I made these two cards last month and uploaded them to my Flickr Gallery but hadn't blogged them so I thought I'd quickly share them with you now. Both use some new Hero Arts holiday stamps that I've been having a blast with.
For this first card, I used Spellbinders Nested Pennants and Nested Lacey Pennants to create a tree-shaped base. Then I stamped the sentiment from Miracle of the Holiday, snowflakes and girl from Bring on the Merry. She was coloured with Copic markers. This was fairly easy to make and will be very easy to mail!
This next card features an Archiver's exclusive called Bears Stamp & Cut, which Jocelyn was sweet enough to pick up for me. These bears are so cute and even my son has been having a blast with them. The bear is lightly shaded with Copic markers but his shirt and the gift are paper pieced from Echo Park's Holly Jolly Christmas paper pad.
I tried to brayer the Winter Trees background with three different shades of distress inks to give it some depth. The bear and presents are adhered to the background with foam tape. I need to make quite a few more holiday cards in the next month. Have you started yours?

Both are fabulous!! Lee-Ann :)
First card is genius. Love the scalloped edge and the snowflakes making a star at the top. The inking on the second one is gorgeous and that bear really is a cutie!
These could not be cuter! Beautifully crafted!
Such adorable cards. Lovely!
These are adorable cards Emily. They are both fabulous but I love the shaped one!
Lovely cards Emily!
aww such sweet Christmas cards.. always a treat..
Simply adorable and too cute!
I love that pennant girl!! and the polka-dot merry? Awesomeness. That bear is adorable - and I love how he pops on the neutral background :) As for my Christmas card making...including sets I've probably made about 60-70 so far. It's crank-them-out time!
As you already know, I love both these cards. Special shout-out today to the contrasting pocket on your bear's shirt, too cute!
