Freakin' Great Birthday
This is my third and final entry for Paper Crafts magazine's 2013 Gallery Idol Open Auditions. I had the geek-tastic idea of creating a sweater, shirt and bow tie card with a custom sentiment. It was a matter of sitting down and putting it all together. It looks a lot easier than it was but I love that it looks neat, just like a geek would prefer. Haha. The sweater die and impression plate are from Papertrey Ink. The mini bow die and triangles used to create the shirt collar are by Lil' Inker Designs. The envelope die is from Amuse Studio and the patterned papers are from Studio Calico's Snippets collection. The sentiment was created with three Paper Smooches stamp sets - Slang Gang, Wake Up and Birthday Sampler. I used both masking techniques shown in this video tutorial.
You have two more days to enter. I hope you'll join in on the fun!
