My card features the Tree Blueprint stamps and dies, as well as a dozen distress inks. Oh, how I love my distress inks! When my husband - a mechanical design engineer - saw this stamp, he thought it was the coolest thing ever. I die cut the tree from its entire image and hung the ornaments from the different layers. The ornaments were watercolored with distress inks and a water brush, then glittered with a Wink of Stella marker.
I also watercolored the base of the white panel - die cut from the new watercolor distress cardstock - and used an embossing folder on the top two-thirds of the panel to mimic the look of falling snow. To finish, I trimmed a piece of zig zag vellum from the Simple Surface collection and adhered it between the white panel and card base.
One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!
I hope you will play along with us this week!
