{Fresh Squeezed Stamps} January Guest Designer: Week 2

This is my second post as the January Guest Designer for Fresh Squeezed Stamps. Today, I'm sharing a card using the Love Signs stamp set. I created a pretty tree to feature one of the large sentiments on the trunk and a couple of the solid heart sentiments as flowers growing at the base of the trunk. I created the tree using Simon Says Stamp Curved Edge and Flat Bottom Clouds dies.

I stamped the sentiment in Versamark Onyx Black before embossing the trunk with a woodgrain embossing folder. I stamped the hearts using Memento Luxe inks and fussy cut them. I used beading wire and tools to create the stems and added silk ribbon as leaves.

My son thought this card was so cool because he thought the tree was an erupting volcano, which I suppose it could be. ;)

Thanks so much for shopping by today!

Loving your projects for FSS. Also love your son's take on the volcano/tree...life with boys! Your K-I-S-S-I-N-G tree is much fun, esp the pink foliage.

Just adorable! Love how you fashioned a tree, or volcano, for this card- it's perfect with that sentiment. :)
