A close friend of mine recently lost her cat of 18 years. After that much time, you can imagine how big of a loss it was. I thought this card would make a great tribute to that furry friend. Of course, I was going to use the Nine Lives stamp set and coordinating Nine Lives dies. I wanted to use the Feathers dies as angel wings since they are shaped just right with the notches to look like individual feathers within a bigger wing.
I created a windowsill for the cat to sit on, using the Duo Dies 3 frame, and embellished it with the Flowers dies as well as a butterfly using Flap Happy and Butterflies 2 dies. The sentiment is from Word Up. I customized the flowers using purple and red which are the recipient's favourite colours. Here's my video showing how I assembled this card:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
