{Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge} You Gotta Have Friends

This is my second post of the day.

Welcome to the third Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge in June! This week's challenge is You Gotta Have Friends which means you need to feature friends on your card or make something for a friend. The design team is featuring Art Impressions stamps. You don't have to use them but we'd love to see some if you have them.

A big, big thank you to Art Impressions for generously sponsoring the design team with stamps and for providing an extra giveaway this week, via Rafflecopter. Be sure to check the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog for all the details!

I used all four of the Messy House 'Try-Folds' stamps on my card. Well, it's not really a card but a big piece of art to hang in the kitchen or send to a friend for a good laugh. It measures 5.5" x 7.5", including the blue violet frame. The images were stamped on Hero Arts watercolor paper with Watering Can Archival ink, and the sentiment was stamped in Jet Black Archival ink. The entire piece was watercolored with Peerless Watercolor papers.

My son wanted to have some fun, too. At first, he wasn't interested in colouring it but five minutes later, he was furiously colouring. Of course, he thought the entire scene was completely ridiculous and asked why there were so many things piled up on the counter. He told me that the lady was green because she drank too much. LOL!

One winner will be chosen at random to win a $50 gift voucher to the awesome Simon Says Stamp Store!

It could be you!

I hope you will play along with us this week!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful Wednesday. :)

Such a fun way to play with these stamp sets, Emily! Only 'you' would create such a fun scene, and of course, your coloring is just beautiful! I have to say that your son's coloring is pretty fabulous, too...and I agree with him - she drinks too much! Thanks for the laugh!

When I saw this on the SSS Wednesday blog, I laughed right out loud! I described it to my mom, and she laughed, too! Then she told me not to adopt that attitude. LOL So I just had to come take a closer look. This just too funny. Love your coloring, and thank you for bringing a laugh to my life!
