Grateful for You, Teacher
Have I mentioned that Blossoming Buds is my favourite stamp set right now? I'm constantly reaching for it and you'll be seeing more of it in the upcoming weeks! I've already made a few cards with it, including this one which went to my son's teacher when he finished kindergarten in June.
To create the card base, I used the new Index Card which is a slightly smaller, narrower version of Femme Frames. I stamped the sentiment first in Archival Jet Black ink and then stamped the flowers in Versamark ink before heat embossing with clear embossing powder. To finish, I watercoloured with Gansai watercolour paints and my son wrote his note with little heart flowers. ♥ All supplies are listed below with links to multiple stores.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

LOVE this, Emily!! I know your son's teacher does, too.
What a great way to play with this stamp set, Emily! I love all the pretty colors, and the scalloped border around your card base is the perfect touch! Love this card!
Wow, what's better... the beautiful outside, or the cute inside? Hard to decide... ;)
Very pretty Emily...love the soft look created with the watercolour. Your son's handwriting is so nice (that is the teacher in me who is impressed!).

Beautiful with the embossing and water coloring. So bright and cheery and I know will be so appreciated by the recipient too.
