{My Favorite Things} Guest Post #2

I'm thrilled to be back on the My Favorite Things blog with two more cards! This first one uses the Die-namies TRANSFORM-ables Say Hello. On the front panel, I used the smaller of the two dies to cut a window into the patterned paper. Then I used both of the dies to create the black frame and adhered that to the front of the card.

I slid the boy and girl from Die-namics Boy Meets Girl into the frame before securing acetate to the back of it to create a shaker. I purposely positioned the girl's head so that the two Ls would form bunny ears. ;)

For my second card, I combined stamped words from CS Smile, die cut words from Die-namics Peek-a-Boo Alphabet Uppercase and a heat embossed ampersand from DC Always & Forever to create a custom phrase. To finish, I watercoloured the die cut letters and added three enamel hearts.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Love this take on the shaker card, and love what you filled it with, and that second card is just perfect! The watercoloring is fantastic!

Emily these are both fantastic. I love the hello window, totally made me smile and the peek a Boo Alphas look great on the watercolour!

Way clever Emily with that speech bubble and those people peeking through. Oh and your watercolor sentiment is awesome.

You impressed me AGAIN! I never thought that a speech bubble would make a good opening for a shaker card. Now I will have to look at all my dies to see which ones could be used for shaker cards. Love how the people are attached too. Thanks!

These are both fabulous, but seriously, that hello card... WHAT?! That is so inventive and totally adorable and I love it so super tons of lots. For reals, though. Lots.
