{Paper Smooches} Blossoming Buds

Kim shared this card on the Paper Smooches blog this week. It features the Blossoming Buds stamp set which I absolutely love! The flowers are so gorgeous and there are many, many ways to showcase them. I used a no-line watercolouring technique on this card, first by stamping the flowers with Pale Ochre archival ink and then watercolouring over them with Gansai paints.

I used the curved Stitched die, twice, on both the top and bottom of the card for visual interest. Then I die cut a Streamers die, stamped a sentiment from Blissful Banners in Watering Can archival ink and watercoloured it. To finish, I adhered the sentiment banner on to the card, with foam tape in the middle and Scor-tape on the ends.
