Hello, dear friends! I'm back with a Paper Smooches card featuring Cat Icons. I wanted the cat to steal the scene on this card so I stamped her a crown from A Little Lovin on the back of diamond glimmer paper and trimmed it out. I heat embossed Blossoming Buds in white on kraft cardstock and sponged the edges with Frayed Burlap distress ink.

Between the kraft panel and white card base, I adhered a piece of patterned vellum from Cosmo Cricket's Simple Surface collection. To finish, I created a custom sentiment by stamping 'for you' - also from Blossoming Buds - on linen cardstock and used the Stitched Dies across the top of it. The 'beautiful' die is from the Kudos Words Dies.

Love this card, and I'm not even a cat person.
The way that mat fits on the patterned paper base makes it look scalloped, I love it, and those flower clusters look like lace in the corners. Perfection!
