I'm thrilled to be on the MFT Blog today, showcasing their incredibly awesome stamps, dies and inks! For my first card, I combined the clipboard from Office Supplies and individual letters from Centerpieces Congratulations Shaker to create a congratulatory message.
I stamped the two sentiments in Red Hot and Licorice Hybrid Inks. Then I used the Natural Hybrid Ink to sponge around the edges of the clipboard. It went on so smoothly, just like butter, leaving no lines!
My second card combines the girl and butterflies from Every Day is a Picnic (coordinating Die-namics), Joy Ride and Square Grid Cover-Up. I used the cover-up as a subtle background for the scene by die cutting it in vellum. I'm going to get a lot of use out of this die!
It was so much fun to create a custom car with all the colours and layers. I attempted to create a convertible but it didn't look right so I left the roof on. Here in Ontario, we have license plates on both the front and back of the car so it doesn't matter that she's facing what is, theoretically, the back of the car. ;)
Thanks so much for stopping by!
