{Paper Smooches} The Welcome Wagon + Giveaway Reminder

The first thing I do when I see a sentiment set, like Paper Smooches' The Welcome Wagon, is to see how many different phrases I can create with it. Sometimes that means altering the existing ones to form new ones or using them in an unusual way. Instead of using this stamp set in the traditional "Welcome to..." way, I used it to create a snarky thank you card.

I did that by stacking "you're" and "most" with the Welcome Word Die and "hope you like it here" without the "here". I have several friends who would appreciate the rhetorical humour in this card and it would be especially perfect if accompanied by a bottle of the recipient's favourite wine, spirits, etc. The shaker part of the card was created using the Drink Glasses Dies.

Yesterday, our fall suddenly turned to winter with temps of -18C/-0.4F. Brrr!!! I'm not happy about it since fall is - or rather used to be - my favourite season. I guess I'll just have some wine and try to ignore it. ;)

You will be so surprised to learn I totally love this card! ;) What a great way to use the sentiments with the "welcome" die cut.
Fall, a season I've heard of, but can no longer recall... :(
