I've been playing with some new-to-me Winnie & Walter stamps and I love them so much that I wanted to share what I've been making with them. I've already made a couple different versions of these for both my mom's birthday and my mother-in-law's birthday earlier this month. In the video, I also share some tips and tricks for layering and hiding adhesives behind vellum!
I used The Big, The Bold and the Extras to stamp the beautiful roses and leaves. The large scripted words are from The Big, The Bold and the Happy and Big Bold You. The secondary sentiment created from the smaller typewriter font is a combination of three words from Big Bold You and The Big, The Bold and the Extras.
I stamped everything in Versamark ink and used five colours of embossing powders for a clean and simple card with shimmer, shine and dimension. Using these stamp sets from Winnie + Walter has become quite the addiction. I've even created a stack of roses and leaves for future quick and easy last-minute cards. ;)
Winnie & Walter is celebrating its first birthday with month-long challenges and giveaways! You don't want to miss it. Be sure to visit their blog by clicking on the banner below.
I hope you're enjoying a lovely weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by!

Emily, your card is really lovely.
Thank you for so generously sharing your professional tips in this video. I especially liked the idea for hiding the glue dot behind the vellum rose. Even the little things like the embossing bag and using a brush to clear off the excess powder are terrific hints for making a better card. Your card is beautiful as is your heart that continues to give to all of blogland.
Emily, this is absolutely beautiful! I love it!
Such a pretty card...love how you stamped on vellum and adhered it.
Such a beautiful card! The embossing is gorgeous, and I can't wait to watch the video to learn your tips. :) PS I really loved all your projects for the latest N&T release as well.
Beautiful card. I love your tip for hiding the adhesive, as I struggle with that sometimes. Bet both Moms loved their card.
What a stunning card!! GENIUS idea to hide the adhesive when adhering vellum. Thank you for sharing it. Stunning design!
Awesome card, love the vellum flowers.
I shall definitely try your solution for hiding adhesive when using vellum -- as you say, it also adds some lovely dimension! And I think I can say, I knew you long ago, before you liked to heat emboss! This is a gorgeous card; I think I'll be trying my own version of it soon. :)
