I'm on the Neat & Tangled blog today with a card combining Scandinavian Prints and Purrfect. The March Release was so fabulous and I love how all the sets mix and match so nicely! Since April is our collaboration month with Hemptique, I thought I'd make another card using their cord, which is my absolute favourite. I own at least a dozen spools!
To create this card, I started by stamping the sentiment as a guide for the row of flowers from Scandinavian Prints. Then I stamped the flowers and added some shine with a Wink of Stella brush pen and sequins. To ground the flowers, I used a coil of variegated cord, held in place with tiny staples. I stamped and coloured the adorable kittens from Purrfect using Copic markers. Lastly, I sponged around the edges of the front panel with a couple of distress inks.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Wow! Such a lovely card!!!!
This is so sweet! I love the floral background and the hemp 'ground'!
Cats lying IN the flower garden... such typical cat behaviour. ;) The hemp cord grounding works perfectly! Your cat colouring is sweet too... is the back one Duncan?:D
I love it. These cats are for sure on my wish list
Let me try that again. :)
This is such a cute card! I love your design, as well as all the dimension and texture.
