Hi, everyone! I'm super excited about today's post and video for Two Many Cards, a new video series I'm doing with Kalyn Kepner. This has been in a works for a while and we're finally bringing you our first in what will hopefully be a never-ending series of fun videos where we share our own unique take on the same products.
It's fitting that Paper Smooches is our first feature since Kalyn and I were on the Paper Smooches team together for few years. We both have very different cardmaking styles but there’s often a crossover in techniques. For example, Kalyn often uses patterned paper and embellishments and I do that, too, though no quite as often as I should. I tend to hoard those supplies! I love watercoloring everything from backgrounds to critters and Kalyn does that, too. We both love layers, colour, great sentiments, and mixing and matching stamp sets! I thought it would be fun to start a video series where we both put our own unique twist on the same stamp set, tool or other product. I approached Kalyn with this idea and she loved it! She went right to work, designing our fabulous logo and video intro so here we are! We really hope you enjoy this new series. Please do let us know if there’s something you’d love to see us do or feature and we’ll add it to our idea book!

I won't go into too much detail about the cards here on the blog since the post is long enough and the video covers all of my techniques. I made two cards to showcase something from all of the pineapple-themed products Kim kindly sent us to feature!
My first card showcases Pineapple Crush and I made a flat, easy-to-mail card featuring the sweet bunny and pineapple detailing as a background for the sponged distress inks.
My second card uses the outline pineapple from Pineapple Crush, faces from the Pineapple 1 dies and glasses from the Pineapple 2 dies, and a sentiment from Pineapple Crush 2.
All of the patterned paper on both cards is from the Gather 6x6 paper pad by Crate Paper.
The faux-stitching was created using the Stitched dies by Paper Smooches and the white glitter enamel dots are by Doodlebug.
We’re giving away one $25 gift certificate to the Paper Smooches store to one lucky winner chosen randomly from Kalyn’s video or Emily’s video. You must be a subscriber! Be sure to leave some love for both of us to increase your chances of winning! Comments will close at 11:59pm EST on April 21st. The winner will be announced on both our blogs and YouTube channels on April 23rd. Be sure to check back then.
Please head over to Kalyn’s blog and YouTube channel to see her take on Pineapple Crush!
Thanks so much for watching!

So adorable! TFS
I love the colour scheme but my favourite card is the one with the three pineapples!🍍🍍🍍
Pretty colours, awesome designs, and you may have even made a new stamped pineapple fan! ;) Although what I really appreciate is how you took a pineapple filler stamp and turned it into a fun design element. 🍍!
Adorable cards! Loved the video!
GREAT CARDS
THANKS FOR SHARING
What a fun idea! Can't wait to see what you both create. Love both of these cards, Emily.
Adorable and funny cards!!! Love pineapples!!!
Cute pineapple cards. Hard to pick a favorite. I like the embossed pineapple detailing on the background on the first one and the paper borders on the second.
Emily, I had to CASE this pineapple card for our Spring Break event over on StampNation! I didn't have a smiling pineapple so I made one. I'll have to show you the result! Too cute!
