{Catherine Pooler Designs} July 2019 Club Sursee | Part 2

Today, I'm sharing some inspiration using products from Catherine Pooler's Deluxe Club Sursee subscription for July 2019. I had previously shared a way to use the Friendship Border die in a more traditional sense and this is a fresh, modern take to give subtle texture to a clean and simple design.

I used three Catherine Pooler inks - Party Dress, Fiesta Blue and Midnight - to stamp both the sentiment from the Layered Greetings stamp set. After adhering six angled pieces of the Friendship Border die, I used the same ink colours to stamp a pattern of Xs inside the squares to create a faux-embroidered look.

Hi there, I'm popping in with a sneak peek at the Deluxe Club Sursee subscription for July 2019. It's amazing and I have way too many ideas and not enough time to share all of them! This card is just the tip of the iceberg of what you can do with the products in this month's subscription.

I used five Catherine Pooler inks - Party Dress, Tiki Torch, Tiara, Mint To Be and Fiesta Blue - to create an ombre effect with the custom sentiment from the Layered Greetings stamp set. Then I used life changing blender brushes to blend the same colours on the Friendship Border die - Party Dress, Tiki Torch and Tiara for the lattice and Mint To Be and Fiesta Blue for the inserts. This design was inspired by all the stunning tile mosaics I saw on my recent vacation in Portugal.

{Avery Elle} Twin Birthday Card by Damian

We got back from Portugal on Wednesday and Damian quickly made this card while recovering from jet-lag. His twin friends turned 12 on Friday and they're moving to Los Angeles in a week so we included virtual gift cards to their favourite stores once they get settled in their new home!

Damian used Prismacolor pencils to colour images from Avery Elle's Market Stand, Peek-a-Boo Pets, Peek-a-Boo Pals and a retired set called Hats Off.

Damian's linking up this card to Kathy Racoosin's 30 Day Colouring Challenge. With end-of-year concerts and our vacation, we were just too busy to play along this time around but it's nice to be able to squeak one in. ☺️
