My first card features the Painted Florals with a birthday sentiment from the Casual Greetings Stamp Set. I love that there's a stamp version of the Casual Greetings Hot Foil Stamp featured on Day 2! This makes it easy if you don't own a hot foil machine or if you prefer stamping. I like that there are plenty of options for different looks.
I stamped the three different flowers using Catherine Pooler's Party Dress, Coral Cabana and Catching Rays inks. The layered leaves were stamped using a combination of Lemongrass, Garden Party, Lime Rickey and Grass Skirt. Before attaching the bouquet to the white linen card base, I die cut a gold glitter frame using the Essential 4-Bar Rectangles.
My second card features two sentiments from the Casual Taglines Stamp Set, which coordinates with the previously-released Nice of You Die. These sentiments are sure to get a laugh from the recipient and can either be used on their own, as you see here, or paired with the Casual Greetings Stamp Set.
I created my card base and a 4" x 5.25" panel from white linen cardstock, then I die cut two pieces of the Berry Basket Die from Pale Rose cardstock. After determining the position of the heat embossed sentiments, I glued the baskets to the card and trimmed off the excess. Next, I popped on the sentiment strips with foam tape.
The flowers were stamped with Black Jack ink and the centres were heat embossed with gold tinsel embossing powder. I added texture to the top layer of the vellum leaves with the A2 Piercing Plate 2 and I just love that added detail!
