Hello, crafty friends! I'm back with another project for Concord & 9th's December Release and today's featured bundle is the spectacular Flower Medley. This is a 6" x 8" stamp set and it was a joy to stamp and die cut these stunning flowers and leaves.
My obsession with Poppy and Nectar continues here and I've combined these two colours with Grapefruit, Sprout, Sea Glass and Juniper. Using white cardstock, I stamped the large flowers in Poppy with Sprout centres, the medium flowers in Grapefruit with Juniper centres, and the smallest flowers in Nectar with Sprout centres. The leaves were stamped in Sea Glass with Juniper veins.
I cut an A2 panel from Juniper cardstock and added texture using the Stitched Stripe Card Front Die. As I use the new colours more, I've been reaching for Juniper a lot when creating and it's quickly becoming one of my new favourite colours!
After creating the arrangement of flowers diagonally across the panel, I used a piece of Press'n Seal to pick up the entire arrangement. I glued the bottom layer to the Juniper panel, and popped two leaves from each sprig, as well as the Poppy flowers, with foam squares.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment with black ink, popped it on to the card base with foam squares and embellished the card with two sweet hearts stamped in Poppy.
