Concord & 9th | October 2024 Guest Designer | Afternoon Tea Bundle

If you missed Concord & 9th's guest designer announcement for October, you can find it HERE or by clicking on the Fun Facts badge below. As always, I'm ecstatic to be creating for them and can't wait to show you all my projects for this month! Today's featured bundle is the Afternoon Tea Bundle and it's absolutely outstanding! The Afternoon Tea Stamp Set and Afternoon Tea Dies are as wonderful on their own as they are together.

When I saw this set, I couldn't help but think about how much my late friend Lindsey would've loved this set and those of you who knew her probably had the same thought! While there have been many tea sets on the market over the years, this is my favourite by far. It's just so beautiful and versatile with all the stamp and die layers!

It was hard not to use the detailed dies for this card and the colour palette I chose includes Wildberry, Briar Rose, Grasshopper, RainforestPowder, Blueberry, Midnight, Cocoa and Hazelnut. You can buy most of these colours individually or as part of the Assorted Color Pack (48 colors), 2024 Color Collection Assorted Cardstock Pack (6 colors) and Neutrals Assorted Cardstock Pack (6 colors).

I primarily used the Afternoon Tea Dies and cut the largest tea pot and tea cups with customizable handles from BlueberryMidnight and Cocoa cardstock. I layered the scalloped edge and base details in Blueberry and added the inlaid details in Midnight. The tea (with milk) was cut from Cocoa cardstock.

I stamped a sentiment from the Afternoon Tea Stamp Set with watermark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder, then set it aside to die cut the flowers and leaves. I cut the daisies from Wildberry, the posies from Briar Rose, the flower centres from Hazelnut, the leaves from Grasshopper, and the stems from Rainforest.

To create the background, I cut an A2 panel from Powder cardstock and die cut it using the Sunburst Card Front Die. The teapot and teacups were popped on to the die cut base panel using foam squares. Behind the card, you'll see two of the new envelopes in Wildberry and Grasshopper.

I hope you enjoyed today's project. I'll see you again tomorrow with more inspiration featuring the Feathered Friends BundleIf you're inspired, please shop my affiliate links below. Thanks so much for your continued support!
