Love You, Mom

Here are the Mother's Day cards for my mother-in-law and my mom. My mother-in-law's favourite colour is purple and my mom's is red but I thought that would be too harsh for what I was trying to achieve so I went with pink. The purple one was easier because I had the right shades available. The pink one actually looks much better in person than in the photograph. It was raining on and off today so my photos are rather dreary. The Stickles which I used in the centre of all the flowers don't show up very well either but they make the cards so pretty!

For both sets, I used individual words from several sets to piece together the sentiment which was a lot of fun. I looked high and low for the word "we" in my supplies but couldn't find one anywhere so what did I do? I used "we" from the word "sweet"! I mentioned a few posts back that I was using the word "sweet" a lot and today it came in handy again. I love it!
