Hoo Hoo

Wow, I can't believe it's been three days since my last post. I wish there were 48 hours in a day. Do you ever feel that way? We're in the middle of an extreme heat wave and I can't stand it. I find the older I get, the less I can tolerate the heat! :)

Today's card is one made with some older and new stamps I haven't played with yet. The owl is Patches which is a Pink Cat Studio digi stamp release from October 16, 2009. I seem to have developed an addiction to owls. I find this surprising since I never considered myself to be a bird person. Never say never, right? I've learned that is very true in life, in general. ;) The blurb box was a freebie from a Unity set called Daddy's Little Helper though I've noticed that the online set doesn't have the 'hangman' lines on it. I received my box of PTI goodies yesterday and boy am I ever happy to finally have the Simple Alphabet set! Now I can spell just about anything on my cards. LOL

Another great card Emily, I just love the way the owl is in such contrast to the backing, he really pops off the card. I love owls too but I am really fussy about how they look, yours is fine:)LOL
I had to reloaded my alien card, it went off into the ether, Mr Blogger was having a very bad day yesterday:)
Thanks for dropping by my blog and your kind comments. I hope you get some cooler weather soon xx

Super-cute owlie card, Emily. I really love your background -- the hoo-hoo blurb is really awesome! (And I'm feeling you on the heat issue too. Whew! Will it ever end?)

Yea!! So glad you got your PTI stuff to play with (finally!). Love the background you created with the blurb box!

I've never gotten into the owl trend, but darn it if this lil' guy is trying to steal my heart!
