Pink Cat Studio ~ Sep 2nd Rubber Release!

This is a monumental day in my stamping career! One year ago, Melissa was launching the Pink Cat Studio Digi Store and asked me to guest design for her grand opening. The first digis she ever created were Halloween and Christmas digis. I made nine cards (ya, insanity was calling my name) and, shortly afterwards, Melissa asked me to join the Pink Cat Studio design team! I can't believe a whole year has passed. Melissa is a joy to work with and I can't wait to see what another year brings.

I'll try to keep this post as short as possible since I have a sick baby to care for. I'm also lucky that I was able to photograph these cards when my camera was working, otherwise I wouldn't be participating in this release. So without further delay, here's my first card featuring Lily Baked a Pie.

You already know that I love Betty Baked a Pie so I wanted to make a card with Lily. I've fallen in love with texty backgrounds lately so that's what you see here and also in my next card. I used more of my baker's twine (it's addictive) and attached the sentiment to it. The tag fell in line naturally with the background text! As I was colouring this, I could imagine using this image for Thanksgiving and again for Christmas. As with most of Melissa's images, there's plenty of versatility.

Up next is a Halloween card featuring images from the new Yummy Frogs Mini Rubber Set.

The sentiment in the background is from the previously released Itty Bitty Halloween set. The punched border is wrapped around the backside as well. I wanted to add baker's twine to this card, too, but stopped myself. ;)

You can see all of my Pink Cat Studio Halloween cards here:

That's it from me today. Thanks for stopping by to share this fun rubber release with me! I hope you've found something to drool over and perhaps a bit of inspiration to create something screamie, scary and Halloweeny!! Have a wonderful day.

Ah, TWO sweet cards in one day! I'm glad you got your camera to work for your special one-year anniversary.

Lily Bakes a Pie is so cute-I love the slanted text background and, c'mon, am I really supposed to believe that tag just landed like that? ;) Love that twine, too!

But I must say Itty Bitty Betty is my favorite one of the day! I love the black border with the kraft and you did such a great job with the color of all those dark purples and grays! Melissa is so lucky to have you on her design team!

(ps-hope little liephart feels better soon!)

Hope your sick guy gets better soon. :(
